Malia Carr

Malia Carr-Drinkowitz

With a degree in Bachelors of Arts in Communication and a minor in business from the University of Oklahoma behind her, Malia found her true calling to equip worshipers in expressive movement. She was a gymnast for fourteen years including a collegiate gymnast and nationally ranked on floor, beam and all-around. Malia received extensive dance training from Kim Rogers who is the #1 ranked collegiate choreographer in the U.S. and a professional dancer in Modern, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Ballet and worked with Romania and Brazil top choreographers. Notoriety is not uncommon for Malia as she has worked alongside Nadia Comenicci Conner, Shannon Miller, Kelly Garrison (1988 Olympian), Becky Buik-Switzer (1988 Olympic Coach), and Steve Nuno ('92, '96 and '00 Olympic Coach). Malia was the head dance instructor for two gymnastic camps where she choreographed the primary routines utilizing over 150 girls and helped administrate the camps. She is one of the visionaries and chorographers for the worship and drama presentations at the End-time handmaidens and Servants conventions. Malia has taught numerous interpretive dance workshops, equipping worship teams that are being sent to the nations, as well as helping area churches birth dance and worship teams. She has worked with YWAM teams to equip them with interpretive dance and is one of the primary choreographers for Behind the Veil and Kingdom Come (worship productions involving Craig Smith and City Christian Fellowship). She is also part of the vision and choreography for the production, "A Son is Given", and is cast in the primary role of Mary.
